Devin Embrich
Substitute Conductor
Devin Embrich is the director of choirs at Jupiter Middle School and Substitute Conductor at the Young Singers of the Palm Beaches. Devin holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education with a Vocal Concentration from Westminster Choir College. During his time at Westminster, he was a member of the Westminster Choir, Symphonic Choir, and Concert Handbell Choir. Devin also served as the president of Westminster’s ACDA collegiate chapter for two consecutive years. As a Countertenor, Devin most recently has been featured on two albums: The 30th Anniversary of the Westminster Evening of Readings and Carols, and the 100th anniversary recording of the Westminster Choir, A Serenity of Soul, under the direction of Dr. James Jordan.
Most recently, Devin participated as a Full Conductor of the Westminster Choir in the Choral Institute at Oxford, UK. Earlier this year, Devin was a selected conductor in the 2024 Eastern Region ACDA Conducting Masterclass and the 2024 Choral Conducting Symposium at the University of North Texas.
Previous to his appointment at Jupiter Middle School, Devin was the proud Conducting Fellow for Princeton Girlchoir’s select Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Lynnel Joy Jenkins.
Devin is thrilled to return to Palm Beach County and YSPB as a teacher-conductor. He hopes to instill confidence, passion, and community in future generations of choral singers, and music lovers.
