Loni White

Collaborative Accompanist
Canadian pianist, Loni White, began studying piano in the Royal Conservatory of Music at the age of 8. She completed her Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Music in piano performance in 2003 studying piano, music history, harmony, and counterpoint with pianist/composer Dr. Kenneth Nichols. In 2004, Loni was awarded first place in the Music Teacher’s National Association Young Artist Competition for the state of North Dakota. Two years later, Loni was a guest soloist with the Minot Symphony Orchestra, where she performed the first Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 2006.
In 2008, Loni graduated with a master’s in piano performance from Florida Atlantic University, where she studied with pianist Judith Burganger.

Loni has extensive teaching experience as a private piano instructor and at the university level. She works as adjunct piano faculty at Palm Beach Atlantic University and Palm Beach State College. She serves as President of the Palm Beach County Music Teachers Association and Vice President of the Florida State Music Teachers Association. Loni is an active performing musician and is recognized for her ability to perform with chamber ensembles and specializes in modern music.
