Lucy Dwyer has been a part of the Young Singers family since 2008 as a volunteer and parent. This is her eighth season in staffing with YSPB. In 2018 Mrs. Dwyer assumed the role of Prime Time Coordinator for our after-school choirs in Palm Beach County. Young Singers is proud to be a Prime Time ELO (Expanded Learning Opportunities) Provider. Young Singer Prime Time Choirs are made possible with support of Prime Time Palm Beach County, Inc., which receives significant funding from the Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County, Inc. Their support has been unwavering allowing us to serve over 1900 youth in the 2021-2022 season. “It is a pleasure to work with our dedicated after-school care conductors offering dynamic programming to help children and youth reach their fullest potential in school and life.”
Mrs. Dwyer is a registered nurse with over 40 years of experience in cardiac and critical care nursing. She held numerous director and consulting positions at JFK Medical Center and Boca Raton Community Hospital. She is a lifetime member of the American Heart Association and a Past President of the West Palm Beach Heart Association. Before joining Young Singers, Mrs. Dwyer was a school nurse for 13 years in Palm Beach County.
Mrs. Dwyer and her husband Ken are proud parents of two YSPB Alumni who were in Young Singers for more than 8 years. She notes, “As a family we remain committed to the mission of Young Singers of the Palm Beaches.”
