Jan Fulford

Jan Fulford lives in Royal Palm Beach and has a full and active piano studio. She retired in January 2019 as the organist for United Methodist Church of the Palm Beaches after serving 15 years there and having served as organist at several churches in Palm Beach County for the past 38 years. She taught in the Palm Beach County School District for 28 years before retiring in 2016.

 

Jan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Piano Performance at Palm Beach Atlantic University, where she studied piano with Marlene Woodward-Cooper and organ with Dr. Arnold Bauer and Dr. Jack W. Jones, and a Master of Education degree at Florida Atlantic University. 

 

She is currently Dean of the Palm Beach County Chapter of the American Guild of Organists and immediate past president of Palm Beach County Music Teachers Association. Jan is a Fellow of The Guild of Musicians and Singers and of The Fraternity of St. Cecilia.
